10 hr layover in Amsterdam?

In January im flying to Egypt and i have a 10 hr layover in Amsterdam this is my second time i have flown threw there and the first time i was so tired and board the highlight was finding Starbucks and smoking a cigg in the freezing cold. Any one have some good ideas to kill time? I don't want to spend a lot of money as i will be spending enough in Alexandria shopping =)~ Also are there lockers or some place i can safley put my carry on so i don't have to lug it around? Any where safe to rest with out paying for a hotel room and not have to try to nap in a hard plastic chair? Thank you ahead of time for all answers!
