Why is that our subconscious is more active than our conscious ?

the conscious deals with the things we are readily focusing on, so it can be very limiting in that way. the subconscious deals with many things, such as making our bodies function properly so we don't die. And our subconscious is always taking in things from our environment that, if we were to take in consciously, we wouldn't be able to do anything except focus on incoming data, no response or anything. Plus our sc also deals with all our memories, so jus those few things alone can explain the majority of why our sb is more active than our conscious. Theres more, but it follows suit as the previous.
