Calculating the weight of a wood framed structure?

Is there any "rule of thumb" for calculating the weight of a wood framed residence uming 2 x 4 framing? Trying to find an approximate weight per square foot for the lumber itself. I can figure in shingles, sheet rock and flooring material separately.
